cosy cottage is well-equipped and has been sympathetically restored to
retain Cornish period features - exposed beams, slate floors, window seats
and cloam oven. Blisland, dating back to Norman times, is peaceful and
unspoilt. It has a pub serving real ale and food (national CAMRA Pub of
the Year award) and a shop/post office. It is also home to one of John
Betjeman's favourite West Country churches. The cottage is within walking
distance of the Camel Trail and Bodmin Moor. Riding, fishing and cycle
hire are available close by. Padstow and the dramatic North Cornish coast
are within a half-hour drive, as is the spectacular new Eden Project.
The A30 (5 minutes away) offers easy access to the rest of Cornwall and
attractions such as the Tate Gallery and St Ives. Celebrity TV chef Rick
Stein's restaurant is at Padstow. The cottage has an open plan ground
floor with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Upstairs there is a double
bedroom, a single bedroom, bathroom with electric shower over bath, vanity
unit and WC. The house has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen
is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer. While there
is no garden, the cottage is directly opposite a large village green.
Parking is available outside the cottage. Please note – no babies

garden in the heart of one of the most attractive villages on the Roseland
Peninsula. Veryan is famous for its thatched round houses and beautiful
water gardens which are opposite the cottage. Excellent sandy beaches
are a few miles away at Carne and Pendower. A village pub and shop are
both within walking distance. The pretty sailing village of St Mawes is
8 miles away. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The
Tate at St. Ives are both within a 45 minute drive. On the ground floor
the cottage is an entrance hall, WC, kitchen with dining table, sitting
room, and snug. Stairs lead up to a double bedroom (4'6 bed) with en suite
shower room, 1 twin bedroom, a second double bedroom (4'6 bed), and a
bathroom with a tub and spray attachment. There is oil central heating

more rugged north coast and the tranquil, picturesque south coast with
its fishing harbours and sandy beaches - a mere 20 minute drive. The
property is also perfectly situated for visiting the many outstanding
gardens open to visitors in Cornwall, including the world famous Eden
Project (open all year round) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The accommodation
and facilities are very good for all age groups and include a tennis

Cathedral City of Truro in the attractive village of St Agnes. A good
choice of local shops and pubs is within easy walking distance. The nearest
shop is a three minute walk away. St Agnes has two excellent sandy beaches
at Trevaunance Cove (a ten minute walk downhill) and Chapel Porth. At
Newquay, 10 miles away, an airport receives flights from Stanstead and
Gatwick. St Agnes is ideally located for exploring this beautiful part
of Cornwall. The Eden Project, The Tate at St Ives, the Lost Garden of
Heligan, Padstow with its many shops and restaurants and Falmouth are

a minimum of one week.
Arrival is any day of the week for city flats
and apartments. Countryside properties usually rent from Saturday to
Saturday.
Normally, check-in time is between 2 PM and 4 PM and check-out
is 10 AM.
We confirm the exact price when a reservation is booked. Prices depend
on the current exchange rate of the dollar, number in the party and
dates of travel. Prices quoted include heat, electricity, towels, linen,
cleaning fees, taxes and our fees - unless otherwise stated. Charges
for telephone calls are extra. Most properties require a refundable
breakage/damage deposit.
