The A30 (5 minutes away) offers easy access to the rest of Cornwall and
attractions such as the Tate Gallery and St Ives. Celebrity TV chef Rick
Stein's restaurant is at Padstow. The cottage has an open plan ground
floor with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Upstairs there is a double

Porth. At Newquay, 10 miles away, an airport receives flights from Stanstead

home featuring exposed stonework and oak beams. Furnished and equipped
to an excellent standard in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday,
the cottage has its own garden with furniture, patio, and barbecue. Situated
on a half-acre of the owner’s grounds, it is bounded by the peaceful
River Windrush just before it joins the Thames. The closest town, Standlake,
is less than a mile from the Oxfordshire Cycle Way. It has a village shop
with post office, two pubs and an equestrian centre. Local fishing and
golf courses are nearby. This area has a fine heritage of country houses
and is centrally situated for day trips to Oxford, Woodstock and the Cotswolds.
The M40 is easily accessed for travel to Warwick and Stratford. This lovely
cottage has an entrance porch, comfortable sitting room, open plan kitchen/dining
area and a shower room. The bedroom has a king-size bed. A washing machine

is set high in the Chiltern Hills amidst woods and farm land. Country
walks nearby go through some of the prettiest parts of the Chilterns.
The village of Coleshill has a pub while surrounding villages and towns
have many restaurants. Train service to London is available from Amersham
- 2 miles away - or from Beaconsfield - a distance of 4 miles. Oxford
and the Cotswolds are 35 minutes by car. The cottage has a cozy sitting
room, a fully equipped kitchen and a conservatory overlooking the rear
garden with woodlands beyond. A double bedroom, a twin bedded bedroom
and a shower room are located on the first floor – one flight

terraced house is deceptively spacious and combines modern comforts with
an old time cottage feel. A stroll into the city centre is along a flat
and level walkway. Jericho is one of the most fashionable sections of
Oxford with restaurants to suit all tastes, a cinema, and lots of shops.
The nearest pub is just across the road from the cottage. The cottage’s
small hallway and comfortable sitting room are on the ground floor along
with the large and bright kitchen/dining area which leads out to the enclosed,
paved garden towards the rear. Outdoor garden furniture is provided. The
cozy double bedroom, twin bedded bedroom, bathroom with hand basin and
bath tub with shower attachment and separate WC are upstairs on the first
floor. The house has a washing machine. Please note there is a small extra

town of Witney. It is close to shops, restaurants, the post office and
aleisure centre. Regular bus service is available to Oxford, Burford,
Woodstock and London. Witney is an ideal base for touring other lovely
Cotswold villages as well as the central and middle sections of England.
The town house consists of two adjoining homes - a larger villa and a
smaller mews house. The villa has 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 while the
mews house sleeps 4. Both are furnished and equipped to a high standard.
A communicating door between the villa (105A) and the smaller mews house
(105B) allows a conversion into a 5 bedroom property that can sleep up

6 bedrooms. Sleeps 8-11. This is Grade II listed Georgian property lying in the heart of the beautiful
Dales village of Askrigg. The village came to prominence in 'All Creatures
Great and Small' and the Kings Arms (aka the Drovers Arms) is next door.
Guests should note that the pub is not rowdy and serves good food. A few
doors on the other side of the property is an excellent delicatessen.
There are some great walks from the village, including the impressive
waterfalls at Hardraw Force and Aysgarth. Ground Floor: Entrance hall,
sitting room, dining room, utility room with WC, kitchen with breakfast
table, access to small yard at rear with garden furniture. First Floor:
2 double bedrooms with 6' beds, small shower room with WC, single bedroom

Falls are a 5 minute drive, Middleham 20 minutes and Hawes 15 minutes.

the Vale of York, 4 miles east of York. Dunnington has a general store,

a parish church dating back to Norman times. Castle Howard is 12 miles
away and within a 1/2 hour drive is the North Yorkshire Moors National
Park. The east Yorkshire Coast is a 45 minute drive. The cottage features

a good ale pub and an extensive Nature Reserve which offers tranquil walking
amongst an amazing variety of wildfowl and birds. The house features a

It stands in its own extensive hillside land through which runs a picturesque
stream. Near the house are lawns and gardens. The property is a beautiful
stone built house. It has recently been renovated throughout to a very
high standard but retains much original character with exposed stonework
and beams and appealing features such as roll top baths. The small village
of Carlton (2 miles) has a village pub (real ale/excellent restaurant)
and Horsehouse (1 mile) has a welcoming pub. This house can be let as
either a 3 bedroom house for 5 guests, or a 5 bedroom house for 9 guests.

falconry with daily displays, Bolton Abbey and the Settle-Carlisle scenic

a mile outside the attractive Dales village of Middleham. The property
lies 300m down a level track and enjoys unhindered views across the eastern-end
of Wensleydale. Middleham is a major horse race training centre, home
to many of the leading stables and many of the local stables have open
days. The village has a castle and fine square containing a good selection
of pubs, shops and tea rooms. The cottage offers a truly peaceful and
romantic setting. Superb footpath walks direct from the door lead down
to the river and into the heart of the National Park. The cottage has
an entrance hall, kitchen with dining table, sitting room with French
windows, stairs to double bedroom with kingsize bed, dressing room, and
bathroom with shower over bath. There is oil fired central heating, Esse
(aga-style) electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge

All of our vacation rentals are fully furnished and
well equipped. Many are privately owned.
A local contact person is always
available for assistance with any problems. Our properties rent for
a minimum of one week.
Arrival is any day of the week for city flats
and apartments. Countryside properties usually rent from Saturday to
Saturday.
Normally, check-in time is between 2 PM and 4 PM and check-out
is 10 AM.
We confirm the exact price when a reservation is booked. Prices depend
on the current exchange rate of the dollar, number in the party and
dates of travel. Prices quoted include heat, electricity, towels, linen,
cleaning fees, taxes and our fees - unless otherwise stated. Charges
for telephone calls are extra. Most properties require a refundable
breakage/damage deposit.
