Knightsbridge This is a beautiful flat on lovely, tree-lined Beaufort Gardens, just steps from Harrods and the Knightsbridge tube. The flat is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator. You enter into a small entryway with a wall directly across the hallway from where you stand. To the right, up about 3 stairs, is a twin bedded room done in navy and reds. To your left is the master bedroom with a queen bed and its own full bathroom. Next to that is a small single bedded room (sleigh bed). Almost in front of you is another full bathroom. You then walk either just to the right and down a wide hall or to the left and into the living room which is lovely with top quality curtains, TV, cassette player, lovely flowered furnishings, deep colors, new rugs, comfortable sofas and chairs. Off this room is a separate dining area with a table that seats 6 to 8. Up a few stairs from here you find the modern kitchen with dishwasher, a washer/dryer unit and other modern conveniences. Eaton Place Belgravia. Tube
stop: Knightsbridge Immediately behind London's most prestigious address of Eaton Square, in the heart of fashionable and exclusive Belgravia, lies Eaton Place. This flat is on the ground and lower ground floors and its outside front door is only shared with one other owner. >From the hallway one enters a large, extremely elegant and very comfortable drawing room filled with quality furnishings and furniture. A pair of large sofas flank the fireplace in which there is a gas/coal-effect fire. The pair of floor to ceiling windows overlooking Eaton Place has electrically operated security shutters and heavy drapes. Double doors open to the fine dining room with a large window to the rear of the building. The square antique dining table seats eight. Another gas/coal fire sits within the mantle-piece. The room is decorated in beiges and soft colors. There is a decorative fireplace and a small dining table. The front door opens straight into a small, but charmingly furnished living room with color TV and video. There is a large and light quality kitchen with all conveniences including washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker. Upstairs are two attractive bedrooms: One with a double bed and one with a single bed. Between these two rooms is a very nice bathroom with shower stall, etc. (no tub). St. Catherine's Mews Tube stop: Knightsbridge A four-story house on a private mews just around the corner from Cadogan Square. Ground floor has a small entrance hall off which is the dining room with an old pine table and seating for six. By dividing this good sized room in half by thick curtains, the other half has been made into a sophisticated small, king-sized bedroom with a window on to a small yard. There is a small fitted wardrobe. Also off the hallway is a small, good bathroom with hand-shower to the tub. Upstairs on the first floor there is a beautifully furnished smaller living room with a pair of windows overlooking the mews. Next door is the modern and well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. It has an attractive trompe l'oeil painting of a dresser with blue and white china covering one wall. Upstairs to the second floor there is an elegant master bedroom with king bed and ample fitted wardrobes. The ensuite bathroom has an overhead shower into the tub. Next door is a very small study furnished with a sofabed and with fitted cupboards. A pair of French doors lead onto a most attractive and sheltered terrace with garden tubs, climbing wisteria and wrought iron furniture. On this floor is a small cloakroom with toilet and handbasin, which also has a washing machine and dryer. Sleeps four people. No children under 9 years. Tube stop: Knightsbridge 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 4. This elegant, traditionally furnished apartment is situated just around the corner from Harrods in Knightsbridge, and is hidden away in a (gated) pretty courtyard mews, with lovely shrubs in front of the building. Up a few steps to the main door of this portered building, and our apartment is on the raised ground floor. This is an extremely spacious apartment with lovely high ceilings and old-fashioned cornicing. Enter into a passageway, off which to the left are the second bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Ahead is a large dining hall with table and four chairs, and from here you can see through to the lounge. The lounge is very large, with windows overlooking Hyde Park, from which you can see the Horseguards Parade. There is a baby grand piano by the windows, and plenty of sofas and armchairs. The master bedroom is also extremely spacious, and has a king size bed, dressing area with walk-in wardrobe leading through to the en suite bathroom which has a shower over bath, and a WC, bidet and wash hand basin. The second bedroom is small and contains twin beds and a wardrobe. There is a second, full bathroom, with shower. Both bathrooms are old-fashioned, but are clean and well maintained. Tube stop: Sloane Square (20-minute walk) Just over London's pretties crossing of the River Thames, Albert Bridge, lies this smart building of flats which directly overlooks the lush, green oasis of Battersea Park. Although it is just south of the river, it is, nevertheless in the heart of central London. Walk over the Bridge and you are into the hub of Chelsea, with the Kings Road a five-minute walk away. A good selection of restaurants plus a couple of supermarkets are within 5 minutes walk. This flat is on the 2nd floor (our 3rd floor) of the building (no elevator but the stairs are not steep). It is all newly converted and decorated in a cozy and traditional style. The living room is finished predominately in oranges and yellows and at one end has a dining area for 5 people. In the hearth is a working gas/coal effect fire with a "club" fender in front of it. The large, ribbed velvet sofa is also a 4'6" sofabed for occasional guests. There is a TV, video, stereo and fax machine. The fine kitchen, in yellow and royal blue, has a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The master bedroom, overlooking the quiet gardens to the rear, has a 5'6" wide double bed and there is ample wardrobe space. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds and the 3rd bedroom has full-length bunkbeds and a wardrobe. is an elegant 2- bedroom,2-bathroom ground floor flat located on a buildingin
the heart of Chelsea, minutes away from the River. There is a good sized
living room and complete kitchen with a separate dining room with French
doors which open onto a beautiful 'tranquility garden' with a small pond.
The master bedroom has a large double bed and an en suite bathroom. The
second bedroom has twin beds and access to a shower room and WC. The flat
is tastefully decorated with original artwork and very comfortable furnishings.

Countryside properties usually rent from Saturday to Saturday. Normally,
check-in time is between 2 PM and 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. |
