and redecorated in March of 1997. The accommodation comprises: A comfortably
furnished, high-ceilinged living room with two large windows overlooking
Queensgate; a modern, well-fitted kitchen which includes a dishwasher
and a washer/dryer, a fridge-freezer and a microwave. At the back of
the apartment with windows overlooking a quiet paved yard are two very
pleasant bedrooms. One has twin beds pushed together and an ensuite bathroom
with a shower. The second bedroom forms a suite that includes the bedroom

This 2-bedroom apartment is in a wonderful location, being a short distance from Sloane Square and with all the benefits of a great choice of shops and restaurants. It is just minutes to King’s Road, Eaton Square and Sloane Street. Sloane Square tube station is an easy three-minute walk with the main line rail station of Victoria being within ten-minute walk. Our apartment is on the third floor (no lift), with wide easy stairs. It is fresh, bright and attractively decorated in blues and whites. It has a medium sized and comfortably furnished living room with a pair of sofas. There are sliding glass windows onto a four feet deep balcony running the length of this room. The efficient, galley style kitchen next door has a washing machine, but no dishwasher or microwave. The attractive master bedroom has a queen-sized (5’) bed with ample closet space. 3 Bedrooms. Sleeps 4-6. This large, comfortable house is in a tree-lined residential street in the heart of Kensington. The cherry trees are beautiful when in full bloom in April. At the entrance to Blithfield Street is a charming French Seafood restaurant and the village shops include a flower shop, cake and pie shop, butcher, chemist, dry cleaner, wine merchant, greengrocer, and small supermarket. Close by are two major supermarkets plus all the shops in Kensington High Street. Harrods and Kensington Gardens are ten minutes bus ride away and Gloucester Road and High Street Kensington tube stations are around a 7 minute walk. The living room is comfortably furnished with two Laura Ashley couches with deep cushions, comfortable wing backed armchairs, wine and coffee tables, lovely table lamps, and wall lights. The dining area has an extending oval dining table to seat six to eight with matching chairs. There is a small antique sideboard in polished mahogany. The kitchen is well fitted and has a washing machine, gas cooker, microwave, and large fridge. The master bedroom has a queen size (5’) bed, large fitted wardrobes which incorporate a chest of drawers, and a comfortable wing backed armchair. There are full length French windows and a large en suite bathroom with bath, power shower over bath, toilet and hand basin. The second bedroom has two charming sleigh beds with modern comfortable mattresses. This room also has a large fitted wardrobe. There is a second separate bathroom. They are a short bus, tube or taxi ride, or a 15 minute walk, to many theatres and Oxford Street. Bloomsbury is a 'villagey' area with many little shops, cafes and local pubs. The Brunswick Shopping Centre near Russell Square includes a Safeway supermarket. 1 bedroom apartments have either twin or double beds; some have sofa beds. 2 bedroom. Sleeps 4. Buckingham Court is situated opposite Ladbroke Square Gardens in the heart of fashionable Notting Hill. It is a secure building, with a porter on duty between 8.30 and 5.30. The flat is just a five-minute walk to the tube station, and from the nearby bus stop a bus will take you straight into Knightsbridge. Our apartment is on the second floor (with a lift). The spacious sitting room has a dining area with table seating six. Large windows make the apartment light and bright. There is a small TV (14”) but no VCR. However, there are three cinemas, all within walking distance, showing films all day. The large master bedroom has a 5’6” bed, and an en suite shower-only bathroom. The room is light and quiet. The second bedroom has twin beds and is also very quiet. The bathroom has Italian fittings, and a shower over bath. to either Knightsbridge, Sloane Square or South Kensington, with their
vast array of shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. This beautifully
furnished house has just been refurbished to an extremely high standard
by an interior designer and is completed in traditional English style.
The sitting room is very attractively furnished, having a feature fireplace,
color TV, direct dial telephone with socket outlets in living room, kitchen
and bedroom, traditional furnishings and French Doors onto a small patio.
There is a basement room for storage with a tumble dryer and a wall safe.
There is a fully equipped kitchen including 2 refrigerators, washing machine
and dishwater, etc. and this leads onto a formal dining room (dining for
8) with another feature fireplace and French Doors onto a small patio.
Going upstairs there is a master bedroom with queen sized bed and a full
range of fitted wardrobes and then a second bedroom, much smaller bedroom,
again very nicely furnished and having a single bed which can be pulled
out to make a double bed with 2 single mattresses (but much smaller room,
suitable for one person or 2 children). There is access to a roof terrace
from this room. The bathroom has a large bathtub with mixer taps, shower
attachment and a very large walk in shower which has the benefit of a
power shower and a steam room button. There is a marble wash hand basin

Queens Gate and Gloucester Road, lies the quiet and sophisticated Clareville
Grove. The tube stations are a short walk and there are a good cross-section
of shops and restaurants in this area. On the ground floor there is a
small comfortable study in which there is a fax/answering machine. Also
off the hall is a cloakroom with WC and handbasin. The modern, well-equipped
kitchen is also a combined casual sitting room with sofa and TV and has
a dining area with a round table seating 6. From this room, doors open
onto a planted patio. The kitchen has a dishwasher and microwave and downstairs
in the basement, along with the central heating boiler, is a washing machine
and separate dryer. Upstairs on the first floor is the medium sized, agreeable
and well-furnished drawing room with primary double-glazing to its window,

It also benefits from having a Waitrose Food Hall at the end of the Street. Entering through the front door into a welcoming hall way, the property comprises a bright and beautifully decorated split level, open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room. At one end of this fabulous room is the good sized modern kitchen which is fully fitted with all appliances, including gas hob, electric oven, and fridge. Arrival is any day of the week for city flats
and apartments. Countryside properties usually rent from Saturday to
Saturday.
Normally, check-in time is between 2 PM and 4 PM and check-out
is 10 AM.
We confirm the exact price when a reservation is booked. Prices depend
on the current exchange rate of the dollar, number in the party and
dates of travel. Prices quoted include heat, electricity, towels, linen,
cleaning fees, taxes and our fees - unless otherwise stated. Charges
for telephone calls are extra. Most properties require a refundable
breakage/damage deposit.
