This apartment is located just steps away from the high-end shopping area of rue du Faubourg St.-Honoré, home to some of Paris' most prestigious couturiers and boutiques. The famous Church of La Madeleine, along with cafés, florists and cheese shops of the Place de la Madeleine are less than a block away. The apartment is situated in a pedestrian-only street that extends between rue Royale and rue Boissy d'Anglais. The entrance leads to a comfortable parquet floors living room which is furnished with a sofa, overstuffed chairs, oriental rugs, and fine antiques. Its south-facing balcony decorated with plants and furnished with a few chairs is a quiet and relaxing spot which takes in the beauty of Paris rooftops. This terrace overlooks the Cité Berryer, so it is very quiet and it gets warmed by the sun from morning to evening. You will find there a great refuge after having roamed in the busy streets of Paris . It gets especially quiet after 8:30PM and on Sundays when the street is closed to non-resident pedestrian traffic. The dining room can accommodate 6 guests. Adjacent to the dining room is the kitchen which is equipped with wood cabinets and white tile floors. Appliances include a four-burner electric stove, conventional and microwave ovens, dishwasher, American-style two-door refrigerator with icemaker, coffeemaker and toaster. For breakfast there is a small table for two. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Furnished with antiques, this room is also equipped with a television and VCR. French doors open onto a small balcony. Outside the bedroom is a modern bathroom with a tub, hand-held shower and a WC. From the living room a wooden winding staircase leads to the upper floor and the second bedroom. This room has twin beds that can be combined to form a king-sized bed. Note: the sleeping area is not closed. Next to this bedroom is a second bathroom with a tub but no WC. Separate toilets are located off the living room. Approximate Weekly Rental Rates  All of our vacation rentals are fully furnished and
well equipped. Many are privately owned.
A local contact person is always available for assistance with any problems. Our properties rent for a minimum of one week. Arrival is any day of the week for city flats and apartments. Countryside properties usually rent from Saturday to Saturday. Normally, check-in time is between 2 PM and 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. We confirm the exact price when a reservation is booked. Prices depend
on the current exchange rate of the dollar, number in the party and
dates of travel. Prices quoted include heat, electricity, towels, linen,
cleaning fees, taxes and our fees - unless otherwise stated. Charges
for telephone calls are extra. Most properties require a refundable
